In addition to earnings.xls, I have programmed a new version that downloads from briefing.com.

I have been trying to use earnings.xls for the last couple of days but and I keep getting – run-time error “9″. Subscript out of range. This was happening once in a while before so I would just re download but now it is happening all the time. I also tried to download your new version but I keep getting sent back to the original.
Your help would be much appreciated.

Hi again, I got the first version working. It was my security – for some reason it had reset so I followed your previous instructions – enabling macros etc. and it worked just fine. But, I would like to check out the 2nd version from Get briefing.com.
    Thanks.

There are two links, one refers to the old post and the second is a direct link to the newer version. In the post, click on “new version”

sean, I just tested and cannot duplicate the issue you report. Download the original file and verify that the issue is occurring on a completely unaltered version of earnings.xls. If so, let me know the Excel version that you are using and I will look into it in more detail.
